Every booking has two separate fees — here's exactly what they are and who gets them.

Stripe Card Processing Fee

Paid directly to Stripe for handling the card transaction. This is Stripe's standard UK rate of approximately 1.5% + 20p per transaction.

This fee applies to all card payments regardless of which platform you use — if you take card payments, you pay this.

Sculpt.coach Platform Fee

Our fee for the platform — booking management, client portal, progress tracking, automated reminders, and more. 3.0% on Free or 1.5% on Premium.

No monthly subscription required on the Free plan — you only pay when you get paid.

When is the platform fee deducted?
Automatically at payout via Stripe Direct Charges — there's nothing manual to do. The fee is deducted from each booking at the moment the client's payment settles, so the amount you receive is always net of fees.
Do I pay anything if I don't train any clients this month?
No. On the Free plan there is £0 fixed overhead — you only pay a fee when a booking is made and payment is taken. If you have a quiet month, you pay nothing. Premium is £15/month regardless, but comes with a 90-day free trial.
Can I switch between Free and Premium?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. There are no lock-in contracts. If you downgrade, you keep Premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Do my clients pay any platform fees?
No. Clients pay only the session price you set — nothing more. All platform and processing fees come out of your side of the transaction, keeping the experience clean and transparent for your clients.
